A personalised song is about 45 seconds of original music with the guest of honour’s name sung in it. It plays on the invite when guests open it.

  1. Sign in and open the invite from Your invites, then choose Play the invite from the party menu. You can also add a song as you make the invite.
  2. Pick a style, such as pop, disco or a lullaby.
  3. Check how the name is said. Write it how it sounds; on most phones you can tap Hear it to listen.
  4. For a child’s party, tick to say you’re their parent or guardian and happy for their first name to be sung.
  5. Tick the box to start making the song. It takes about a minute, and we email you when it’s ready.
Why the tick box?We start making the song the moment you ask, just for you, so once it’s made it can’t be cancelled for a refund. The tick box says so, and nothing starts until you tick it.

What it costs

Your first song is free. After that, a song uses one credit: one credit is £4.99, or four are £14.97.

If something goes wrong

  • If a song can’t be made, your credit or free song comes straight back and we email you, so trying again costs nothing extra.
  • If the music service turns the name down, a different spelling or another style usually works.
  • A new take on a song that worked uses a credit.
  • Your earlier songs stay with the invite, so you can put one back on whenever you like.

Memorial invites, and invites with a calm design, never have a personalised song.
